Let's continue, after checking in hotel - You may read my reviews here. It's gonna be dinner and shopping time! So we took at tuk-tuk from Hotel to our dinner place - it costs about 100Baht per tuk tuk. You just need to show them the address, they will definitely know where it is already.
Upon reaching the dinner place, the feeling and the atmosphere was awesome! The front part of the entrance are more for kids where they are arcade machines and a few stalls selling clothes and accessories.
Here come the best part of all - FOODS!
YES! Don't be surprised, it is that big. I guess there are more than 500 tables. With many foods, drinks and even Getai (stage) for singers. Live band too. |
MOOKATA for Dinner ~ |
All drinks are free flow, even those bottle Coca Cola. They have all kinds of drinks, both hot and iced. And desserts drink like Ching Teng. |
Many variety of fruits too. Fresh to go! |
& now, don't blink! It's DESSERTS TIME! You will definitely be shocked by the varieties of desserts available. Let the photos 'talk' it all. Enjoy!
This is nice! Their traditional foods, its something like jelly but its actually Ang Ku Kueh (red tortoise cake), in the shape of fruits. So inside actually got salty or sweet flavours one. |
Including making your own desserts, by mixing some of these. |
And yes, speaking of the pot, it uses charcoals to cook and this is how they start fire with the big fan on the left side. |
Pardon the tissues please. There will be a tray-like beside your dining table. Allowing you to put a kettle to refill the soup, buckle of ice for your drinks. |
Before you start, this is the big piece of pork lard on your pot. HAHA enjoy! |
Some nice foods to highlight - the oyster mushrooms, the big orange-color prawns and some cooked foods like fried spicy chicken wings etc. |
I actually wanna blog about the Saturday Night Market, but there are too many photos for dinner. So I shall blog in separate post. Keep a lookout then.
Please try to be there by 7pm (Spore time) if not it will be fully occupied soon. & it's totally cheap like nobody business. I would strongly recommend you to go this place and try, worth the price, atmosphere and foods too.
