d'Good Cafe at Holland Village

Monday, November 18, 2013

To chase away your monday blues, something sweet and nice to brighten up your day! This is somehow the first cafe I've been to after so long, cos I dont drink Coffee. But now in order to bring up the traffic of blogs, I have to visit more of these places especially in Singapore. Come to think of it, especially when Singapore was just a red dot on the map, it can be full of nice places for these. Agree with me? *Hands-up*

So this time round, I went Holland Village for d'GoodCafe. (P/S: I actually went in from the back door, so pardon me as I did not take the photo of the front. HAHA. & I only thought of it when I wanted to blog about it. LOL)

So this was the back door, and please enter from the door on the right which led to d'GoodCafe. The one beside was a laser eye clinic. Please also take note of the operating hours of their.
Many decorations can be seen when going up the staircase and they actually have 3 storeys, but only 2 storeys for seatings.  Their staircases make you feel as if leading to mysteries kind of place?
This was how their 3rd storey looks like. It was definitely a cosy and quiet place for you to spend some time over there to read some books and they do provide wifi and sockets for you to charge any of your gadgets if needed. The settings of their cafe was awesome right! Love it!
This was how their 2nd floor looks like.  Doesn't the swings there looks so vintage? You can have chats over there with your buddy or with love partners would be totally romantic eh! ♥
*DAH-DAH* Their alfresco seatings seems so lovely right? If it's not raining and at night, it will be like lighten up and so romantic la ~ More suitable for larger groups I believe. Definitely a good place to chill and for gatherings too.

Now into the main part of their cafe - Ordering counter.

Yes, those 'pails' are for your drinks' condiments.

1. d'Good Strawberry Cheesecake - $8.50/per slice
Does it looks appealing to you? Yes, but it does not taste that nice as appealing it is. I cannot deny that the strawberry was fresh though.

2. Eggs Benedict - $13.50 per servings
Eggs Benedicts is a must try dish in their menu!! The salads with the homemade Hollandaise sauce were a perfect combination - definitely for salad lovers. The egg yolks was oozing out from it upon poking it, goes best with the bacon and the english muffins. And you can choose to add-on drinks with a choice of regular cafe latte, hot/iced chocolate or Sunrise (orange and lemon mix) with just $3.

So we chose Regular Cafe Latte....

The sweetness and bitterness was just nice, without adding any condiments.
3. Chocolate Chips Cream (Regular/Large) - $7.00/$8.00
Total amount (Inclusive of GST):
1. Eggs benedict
2. Regular Latte
3. Chocolate Chips Cream
4. d'Good Strawberry cheesecake

is $32. (for 3 person)

In my opinions, the price was pretty reasonable. And definitely I won't mind going again. Of course, now I know how to get there already just by getting out from Exit B of Holland Village Mrt Station and turn left walk among shops and you will be able to spot it on your left. So it is convenient too. So don't worry of the accessibility too. So I will definitely recommend to other friends and family too. Enjoy! ^^
