Cafe hop: DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe, Desserts only

Hello! This time round I am visiting the recent trending place for Cafe hop - DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe. It is well located at Marina Bay Sands which is convenient for most of us. I would advise you to exit by Exit C from Bayfront Mrt station which only needs you to walk a shorter distance. It is at the direction of the ice-rink and you won't miss it because it took up quite a space at that wing of MBS. So no worries about finding the place! :D

Starting from the left of the picture, it is the restaurant whereby you may dine in and having those main courses - Starters, Quesdilla, Sandwiches, Burgers, Entrees and Pastas. Right in the middle of the whole stretch, you have the cafe where they allow you to take away and several tables and chairs too. I went on a Sunday and able to get a seat for 2 so shouldn't be a problem. I would say it is rather challenging for bigger group about more than 5 pax? Lastly, on the extreme right we had the merchandise shop where the huge fans of superheroes might be more interested too.

| There is this "Joker" room in the cafe with only about 4 sets of tables and sofas. But i would say the concept is pretty cosy. Please pardon the uncleared table as the waitress was nowhere to be seen. |
These are what 2 of us ordered:
1. Wonder Woman Cupcake, red velvet flavoured.
Saw the first few layers of it? It's all sugar coated, and it is flavourless. But I have to say that the cupcakes caught my attention first, so too eye-catching to resist buying it. However, it tastes not bad though it is sweet and expensive but its really moist and soft. Good enough!
2. Forest Berry Tart
Firstly, I have to say that the most important part to me in a tart is the CRUST! Which means the first bite of it has to literally 'melt'' in your mouth and the butter taste must be fulfilling enough. So this crust did fulfill most of it, just that it dint really melt completely. The berries went well with the crust. Preferred this out of the 3 items we ordered.
3.Green Lantern Carrot Cake
You can taste the chunkiness of the cake, and the taste is strong with the nuts (walnuts). The texture is rough though. However, the white color coating (cheese?) did help improve the taste of it as it blends well overall.
In conclusion, I would say it is a good place to take photos. Desserts, in general was pretty normal like I would rate it 3/5. Price is a bit costly though. Shall go back another day to try the main courses. But if you are great fans of Superheroes, this is definitely worth paying a visit! No regrets! :D

Can you pay by nets?
