Sembawang White Bee Hoon at Yoo Huak Restaurant

Hello! It's haze period nowadays, so let me introduce a less oily food - Sembawang White Beehoon. If you guys know where is Sembawang Shopping Centre, then it is just directly opposite it. If not, it would be about 5-10 bus ride from Sembawang Mrt Station/Sun Plaza. Super accessible, i would say. Those who intend to drive, please note that they have limited parking slots around there unless you want to park at Sembawang Shopping centre and then just cross the road. Convenient enough!
My friend and I arrived there at around 2.30pm on a Sunday and its only about 2-3 pax in the queue and within 5 mins, we gotten our seats! They took our orders while we were queue-ing too. According to my friend, this restaurant has just renovated and been much more cleaner. Good! There are many seats around the restaurant, both the indoor and outdoor. I would say that the place has good ventilation, so don't worry about being too sweaty. Sometimes you might need to share table with others, depending on the crowds.

| Here it is - the famous seafood white beehoon (Small size, $5) If you are chilli lover, please eat it with their chilli or rather belachan. Power!! I won't say it is very spicy, so just give it a try! The ingredients they had is Sotong and prawns. Just that the vegetables could be bit bitter. The gravy is very savoury, together with the generous amount of eggs - it is perfect! Rating i would give 4/5. (highly recommended) |

I think this is one of the few places up North that is worth traveling for! So i would visit again to try more of the dishes for Tze Char too. Do avoid weekends after 5pm, if not prepare to queue at least 30-45 mins.
